Terms and Conditions
1. The Customer

1.1 The Customer is the party specified as the buyer at check out.

 

2. Product Supply

2.1 Please note we offer on the Città website only items that are in stock. However if items are found to be out of stock for any reason, all payments made by the Customer for that item will be refunded within 5 working days and not held for future stock.

 

3. Website Information

3.1 We make every effort to ensure the information on this website is up to date and correct at the time it was loaded onto the website. Please contact us at shop@cittadesign.com if any inconsistencies are found.

 

4. Cancelling Orders

4.1 Orders cannot be cancelled after payment has been made. If you process an order in error please contact customer services at shop@cittadesign.com

 

5. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993/Claims

5.1 Where the Customer is not a consumer as defined in Section 2 of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Act shall not apply to the supply of product or services.

5.2 The liability of the Company whether in contract or in tort for any loss, damage or injury arising directly or indirectly from any defect or non-compliance of the goods supplied is limited to replacement or repair of such goods or damages not exceeding the invoice value of such defective or non-complying goods at the option of the Company. The Company shall not be liable for any consequential indirect or special damage or loss of any kind whatsoever. The description of goods in the order is given as an aid in identification of the goods and it is not a condition of supply that the goods shall correspond precisely with the description given or that colors shall match samples exactly.

 

6. Ownership

6.1 Ownership in the goods shall remain vested in the Company until the Customer has made payment in full for all sums owing by the Customer to the Company or if payment rescinded. Until ownership passes to the Customer, the Company may repossess any or all of the goods supplied by entering the Customer's premises where such goods are reasonably thought to be stored.

 

7. Payments

7.1 We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Afterpay. We also accept Visa and Mastercard Debit cards. We do not accept cash on delivery, EFTPOS, cheques, and direct credit.

7.2 For your safety, payments are processed on an independent secure hosted website. Provider details available on the payment screen.

 

8. Currency/GST

8.1 Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Your credit card will be billed in NZD. If you are using an International credit card, please check with your credit card provider for exchange rates and applicable fees. GST must be included for all goods delivered in New Zealand.

 

9. Availability

9.1 Product availability may vary between stores. Please check in with your local store to determine whether your product of choice is available or contact us.

 

10. Promotion


10.1 We reserve the right to exclude certain products and/or geography from our promotions.

11. Sign Up & Win: $500 Città Voucher Giveaway

Eligibility:

11.1 The competition is open to residents of New Zealand, Australia, and United States who are 18 years or older, except for Città employees and their immediate families. 

How to enter:

11.2 The competition period commences on Thursday 3, October 2024 and ends at midnight Thursday 17, October, 2024 at midnight NZST.

11.3 To enter, individuals must complete and submit the entry form hosted on Meta (titled: “Sign Up & Win: $500 Città Voucher Giveaway”)

11.4 By entering, you consent to subscribing to Città’s online marketing communications, which includes emails about new arrivals, design insights, and promotions. Personal data will be handled in accordance with Città’s Privacy Policy. If at any point you no longer wish to receive these communications, you may opt out by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided in any email.

11.5 Entry is limited to one per email address.

11.6 Current Città database subscribers are welcome to participate in the competition. To be eligible, existing subscribers must complete and submit the same Meta entry form as non-subscribers during the competition period.

Determining the winner:

11.7 The competition will run as a game of chance and the winners will be selected by a random number generator.

11.8 The winners will be notified via email on Friday 18, October 2024. The winners must acknowledge their acceptance of their prize by replying to this email with any additional details requested. This must be received by Città no later than Sunday 27, October 2024 at midnight NZST.

11.9 If, for any reason, a winner does not acknowledge acceptance of their prize by Sunday 27, October 2024 at midnight NZST, the prize will be forfeited and another winner selected.

11.10 Città will have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive an email notification due to winner’s spam, junk email or other security settings or for a winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.

The prizes:

11.11 There will be a total of three (3) prize winners, with one from each of the following countries:

New Zealand: One (1) winner will receive a $500NZD Città gift voucher.
Australia: One (1) winner will receive a $500AUD Città gift voucher.
United States: One (1) winner will receive a $500USD Città gift voucher.

11.12 New Zealand gift vouchers are redeemable in-store at Città and Città Essentials locations and online at cittadesign.com. Excludes third-party retailers. Australia gift vouchers are redeemable online at cittadesign.com/au. United States gift vouchers are redeemable online at cittadesign.com/us.

11.13 Gift voucher is valid for 12 months from date of issue. Città will have no liability for the recipient’s failure to redeem the gift voucher before the expiry date.

11.14 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

General:

11.15 Città reserves the right to disqualify any individual who breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or other improper misconduct to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition.
