1. The Customer

1.1 The Customer is the party specified as the buyer at check out.

 

2. Product Supply

2.1 Please note we offer on the Città website only items that are in stock. However if items are found to be out of stock for any reason, all payments made by the Customer for that item will be refunded within 5 working days and not held for future stock.

 

3. Website Information

3.1 We make every effort to ensure the information on this website is up to date and correct at the time it was loaded onto the website. Please contact us at shop@cittadesign.com if any inconsistencies are found.

 

4. Cancelling Orders

4.1 Orders cannot be cancelled after payment has been made. If you process an order in error please contact customer services at shop@cittadesign.com

 

5. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993/Claims

5.1 Where the Customer is not a consumer as defined in Section 2 of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Act shall not apply to the supply of product or services.

5.2 The liability of the Company whether in contract or in tort for any loss, damage or injury arising directly or indirectly from any defect or non-compliance of the goods supplied is limited to replacement or repair of such goods or damages not exceeding the invoice value of such defective or non-complying goods at the option of the Company. The Company shall not be liable for any consequential indirect or special damage or loss of any kind whatsoever. The description of goods in the order is given as an aid in identification of the goods and it is not a condition of supply that the goods shall correspond precisely with the description given or that colors shall match samples exactly.

 

6. Ownership

6.1 Ownership in the goods shall remain vested in the Company until the Customer has made payment in full for all sums owing by the Customer to the Company or if payment rescinded. Until ownership passes to the Customer, the Company may repossess any or all of the goods supplied by entering the Customer's premises where such goods are reasonably thought to be stored.

 

7. Payments

7.1 We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and Amex.

7.2 For your safety, payments are processed on an independent secure hosted website. Provider details available on the payment screen.

 

8. Currency

8.1 Prices are in US dollars. Your credit card will be billed in USD. If you are using an International credit card, please check with your credit card provider for exchange rates and applicable fees.

 

9. Availability

9.1 Product availability may vary between stores. Please check in with your local store to determine whether your product of choice is available or contact us.

 

10. Promotions

10.1 We reserve the right to exclude certain products and/or geography from our promotions.

10.3 10% Sign up offer. Sign up to our newsletter to receive 10% off for your first purchase. Discount only available for online orders in the United States and Australia. Your unique discount code will be emailed to you and has a one-time use. Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or discount. 

 

11. Free Pillowcase Pair with Duvet Cover Purchase

Celebrate the change of season with a special winter gift. For a limited time, receive a free pillowcase pair when you purchase a duvet cover. Full terms and conditions are outlined below.

11.1 To be eligible, you must purchase a full-priced duvet cover from Città or Città Essentials during the promotional period. 

11.2 The promotion is available online at www.cittadesign.com and in-store at Città and Città Essentials locations in New Zealand. Excludes third-party retailers.

11.3 For online orders, the selected duvet cover and matching pillowcase pair must be added to the cart. The discount will be automatically applied to the order total, with no promo code required.

11.4 The promotion is not available in conjunction with any other offer or discount, including the purchase of sale products. 

11.5 Online orders are eligible for a free standard pillowcase pair in the matching colourway. In-store customers may choose a pillowcase pair in a contrasting colourway. To request an alternative colour combination online, please contact our customer service team at citta@cittadesign.com to arrange a manual order. Città will do its best to fulfil preferences, subject to availability at the time of purchase. 

11.6 The promotional period commences on Thursday, 15 May 2025 and ends at 11:59pm NZST on Monday, 2nd June 2025.

11.7 If the qualifying duvet cover is returned for a refund, the corresponding pillowcase pair must also be returned.

11.8 The pillowcase pair is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

11.9 If a specified pillowcase pair is unavailable, Città reserves the right to substitute with a similar item of equal or greater value at its discretion.

11.10 The promotion is open to residents of New Zealand and Australia.

11.11 There is a limit of one gift per qualifying transaction. Customers may make multiple qualifying purchases during the promotion, but only one gift per transaction is permitted.

11.12 The promotion excludes any purchases, orders, or deposits made prior to the promotional period.

11.13 The promotion is not available in addition to traditional discounting structures, such as wholesale, commercial, or staff accounts.

11.14 Città reserves the right to disqualify any individual who breaches any of these Terms and Conditions or engages in misconduct that compromises the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
