Asili Soapstone Bowl
The Soapstone Bowl is skilfully hand-carved in Kenya by Asili. Each piece is whittled back from large chunks of raw pink soapstone using traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations. The carvers work with no more than hand-tools to create a smooth finish, celebrating the unique diffusion of blush and natural hues throughout the material.
Asili soapstone pieces are produced within a fairtrade environment that supports the artisans, their families and communities in Western Kenya.
The beautiful bowl is available in three sizes with each individual piece truly unique. Hand-wash only and dry immediately. Do not leave submerged in water.
